My Journey to Being Healthy

With this year half gone, I think it is but appropriate for me to start my long term goal of living a healthy lifestyle again.

I have always been a very athletic person. When I was a growing up, I would be participating in all kinds of sports. I would always be part of the varsity team. I would be in competitions or races. In college, the trunk of my car always had three different kinds of rubber shoes and a big gym bag of sports clothes handy. I was always ready for any action I could find.

But this all changed when I started working, got married and had my family. I got too caught up with all my new duties and responsibilities that I neglected my real passion - to always be fit and healthy. Then later on, I realized that my life was not complete. It was not balanced. I needed to get back to my active and healthy lifestyle again. My mind and body was calling for it.

It may have taken me awhile to actually act on this realization. But as they say, it's better late than never. And that's where I am now. I am now starting my journey to being healthy again.

Hi Kris! wow! as in big wow! Congrats on this new blog of yours and expect me to contribute much on this.....hahahaha ang yabang ko ba? Well maybe I can share a bit on how to stay young and trim, hahahaha sobra na sa yabang si tita marie mo.
